This study aims to evaluate employee job satisfaction at MR.DIY using the Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The research examines several key performance attributes, including quality of work, job knowledge, productivity, adaptability, dependability, judgment, initiative, interpersonal relations, and leadership. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire in which employees rated each attribute based on its importance and actual performance. The IPA approach was then used to map these attributes into four quadrants to identify which aspects should be maintained, improved, or given priority attention. The findings show that job knowledge, adaptability, and leadership qualities perform well and align with employee expectations, placing them in the “Keep Up the Good Work” quadrant. Meanwhile, initiative, creativity, and interpersonal relations appear in the “Concentrate Here” quadrant, indicating that these highly important attributes are not yet meeting the expected performance levels. This suggests the need for stronger support in fostering creativity, collaboration, and more effective teamwork among employees.Overall, the study provides useful insights for MR.DIY in determining which areas require immediate improvement while maintaining existing strengths. The IPA method proves valuable in highlighting performance gaps and supporting strategic decisions related to employee development and workplace management.
