This study aims to describe the implementation process of a computerized accounting system using Accurate Online software at Company X and to evaluate its impact on the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on an independent internship program at the Public Accounting Firm (KAP). Data were collected through direct observation, transaction documentation, and hands-on work experience. The findings indicate that the computerized accounting system significantly accelerates the recording of sales transactions, cash disbursements, and general journal entries. Additionally, the system enhances data accuracy, transaction traceability, and account consistency in financial statements. Although some initial challenges emerged—such as human resource adaptation and data import format constraints—the company successfully addressed them through training and structured standard operating procedures. These findings reinforce the evidence that digitalizing accounting systems is highly relevant in improving the quality of corporate financial information in the modern era.
