Analysis of Strategic Management Implementation and Its Impact on Employee Performance at PT Karya Giri Palma

This study aims to analyze the implementation of strategic management and its impact on employee performance at PT Karya Giri Palma, a manufacturing company engaged in the production of spring beds and furniture. The selection of this topic is based on the importance of structured and integrated strategies in enhancing productivity and company competitiveness, especially in the face of production challenges that must align with customer demand and scheduling. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, utilizing interviews and observations to collect relevant and in-depth data.

The findings indicate that the involvement of management and employees in every stage of strategic management ranging from strategy formulation, implementation, to evaluation has a positive impact on motivation, discipline, and employee productivity. The strategies implemented are focused on improving production efficiency, product quality, and interdepartmental coordination. The study recommends enhanced employee training, optimization of management information systems, and regular evaluation of strategic actions to achieve optimal and sustainable performance. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for similar manufacturing companies in developing participatory-based strategic management.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan manajemen strategik serta pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Karya Giri Palma, sebuah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang springbed dan furniture. Pemilihan judul ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya strategi yang terstruktur dan terintegrasi dalam meningkatkan produktivitas serta daya saing perusahaan, terutama di tengah tantangan produksi yang harus berjalan sesuai jadwal dan permintaan pasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, melalui wawancara dan observasi guna memperoleh data yang relevan dan mendalam.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan manajemen dan karyawan dalam setiap tahapan manajemen strategik mulai dari perumusan, implementasi, hingga evaluasi strategi yang berdampak positif terhadap motivasi, kedisiplinan, dan produktivitas kerja.
