Every company strives to ensure that its employees work well to achieve goals,
including the Tirta Kencana Regional Drinking Water Company of Samarinda
City. This study investigates the relationship between organizational culture and
career development in influencing employee engagement. This study uses a
quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires via Google Forms. The
target research population consists of 412 employees of the Tirta Kencana
Regional Drinking Water Company of Samarinda City. The sample was
determined through a saturated or census sampling technique, focusing on 203
respondents of the Tirta Kencana Regional Drinking Water Company of
Samarinda City. Data analysis was carried out using instrument tests,
descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests,
hypothesis tests, and correlation and determination coefficient analysis, with the
help of SPSS software version 25.0. . The results of the study indicate that career
development (X1) partially has a significant effect on employee engagement (Y),
as well as organizational culture (X2) which also has a significant partial effect
on employee engagement (Y). Simultaneously, both independent variables,
namely career development and organizational culture, have a significant effect
on employee engagement
