The development of information technology has been utilized in all aspects of human life, including education. A Learning Management System (LMS) is a technology specifically developed to manage and facilitate the entire online learning process. This research aims to understand how learning management can increase student engagement through Learning Management Systems. The method used in this study is a literature review. The results of this research examine the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in the context of higher education, aiming to deepen the understanding of the benefits, challenges, and objectives. Data analysis was carried out through stages of data collection, data simplification, data presentation, and drawing conclusions on discussions related to learning management systems. The results of the discussion show that learning management systems increase student engagement by providing easy access to learning materials, enabling interaction through forums and discussions, and providing instant feedback. Learning Management Systems are essential in the learning process and can help students in creating, distributing, and organizing the delivery of learning materials.
