The research article "The effect of financial literacy and future preparation on investment interests in stocks and gold" explores the impact of financial literacy and future planning on investment preferences in stocks and gold. The urgency of this research stems from the increasing interest of private investors in securities post-COVID-19 crisis (Bayakhmetova et al., 2023). This type of research will use a quantitative approach, focusing on students of the Faculty of Economics and Business from Tanjungpura University. This research will take place from March to May 2024. This study will investigate the impact of financial literacy and future preparation on investment interests. The research will be conducted in West Kalimantan, Pontianak. The target is to analyze how these factors influence investment decisions in stocks and gold among FEB Untan students. Data collection will involve questionnaires with google form platform, instrument testing, and statistical analysis such as multiple regression and t-test using software such as SPSS. Financial Literacy has no partial or individual effect on Investment Interest in Stocks and Gold. The influential elements in this study are loans and savings, investment, general knowledge about personal knowledge. Future Preparation has a significant effect on Stock and Gold Investment Interest. The influential elements in this study are perceptions of risk and security, economic and market conditions, and access to information and technology. Researchers provide suggestions based on the results of research to students of the Tanjungpura University Accounting study program to further increase knowledge and apply financial literacy and future preparation so that interest in investing in stocks and gold is getting better.
